This past week, Dr Weniger passed away. He battled Alzheimer?s for a few years.
He was the 2nd President of MBBC (now called MBU).
He brought about some real needed changes:
1) Got the college out of debt
2) Built a great library
3) Secured regional accreditation
4) Built a faculty with depth
5) Eliminated the Baptist Bride position
6) Eliminated the TROnly position as well as some of the founders of the Burgon Society (from the faculty)
