Efficacious Grace, AKA the "Effectual Calling" is what some refer to as "IRRESISTABLE GRACE."

It is also synonymous with REGENERATION so this is a very, very big deal!

Consider this research for an upcoming paper so if anyone has some good resources, this would be most appreciated. I would like to know how Non-Cals would explain the work of regeneration from whatever perspective they may have.

I had the energy (and offer) to tackle this subject with you a couple weeks ago. Now…not so much. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I noticed as well...but, I still had to "poke the bear!" Ray knows what I'm doing! LOL

I'd like to understand the mindset. I am certain you believe that regeneration is not just "Making a Decision for Jesus" right?

Nope, I'm doing research and that includes interviewing others and asking their opinion!
Opinions are like belly buttons...everyone has one! With that being said, and I'm sure you know this already, opinions can often be wrong. When they are, they're REALLY wrong! :)

Well, I am looking for INFORMED opinions from some who may have perhaps examined the matter for themselves and, for whatever reason, have come to a differing conclusion!

In other words, opinions solidly grounded upon scripture and with a clear conscience before God - or an honest "I don't know" will suffice so long is it is not based upon apathy and laziness!

I've been called everything from an Arminian, to a 5 pointer, 3 and 4 pointer, to a Calminian! LOL As far as I'm concerned, neither side si 100% correct. It a subject that will never be established until Christ returns. Sad, but so very true!

Well again you make it seem that no one comes to an absolute conclusion to what the truth of things might be. Fact is many do though come to that place.

I take it comprehension isn't your forte! I never mentioned a one person, or even millions of people reaching a conclusion. If it were the truth, it seems that all would agree...and we don't have that anywhere in each sides soteriology. There are two or more opinions here. "Be ye of one mind..." don't think so...not gonna happen when it comes to this subject.

Being of one mind doesn't mean one is to set aside a right way of thinking about what God is like and his will towards sinners. Being of one mind means we commit to the commandment of LOVE and where we certainly don't seek to make it seem one isn't a Christian if they don't agree 100 % with what another believes. Being of one mind means we can accept each others as brothers/sisters and we may not always agree with each other but we disagree without being disagreeable.

REEEEaalllyy? Think I didn't know that? You point out what everybody knows already. Do you truly have anything NEW to add other than stating the obvious?

Sure but it doesn't mean things of various subjects shouldn't be talked about. Being of one mind still means people can talk and should to correct a way of thinking.

Again, stating the obvious...anything worth posting, Rockson?

Average I'm content to know I've made my points to other readers.
There really haven't been any points made as far as I can tell. Just stating the obvious....LOL
