Fat lady ain't singing yet.
Yeah, but they've got her in the bullpen.

That's it for me. Good luck Canucks.
Yes, the bases were loaded with one out. But, attempting a squeeze (third base runner pauses and reads whether or not the bunt is successfully placed in the right part of the field to achieve success) or a suicide squeeze (where the runner just breaks to steal home as soon as the pitcher delivers the ball and hopes that the bunt gets put down) is a big ask, probably more risky and less successful on average than a sacrifice fly, or a well-placed hard hit ball with the infield drawn in. And of course, all of that is contingent upon the guy at the plate and his ability on average to execute a bunt. In this day and age, bunting is more of an art than a fundamental. It's a lot more about power, home runs and extra base hits have become the name of the game.I went to bed after the Jays choked the game away in the 9th inning. They looked like they were afraid to win.
Correct me if I’m wrong. Bottom of the 9th and the game is tied with the Jays at bat. Weren’t the bases loaded with one out? Wouldn’t a bunt have won the game???
