ACA premium’s increasing.

Leaving ... what? I'm listening. Make your case.
The Democrat ‘Affordable Healthcare’ plan is their plan.
The Democrats voted to allow the Covid subsidies to expire.
Now, that they have expired and the idiocy of their plan is being revealed they close the gubmit. They fixed healthcare…we know because Obama and the Democrats told us that’s what they did.

Make your Democrat apologist case in defense of that.
And tell me why they called it affordable?

Trump said he was gonna fix it. I can admit Obama made it worse. Can you admit the republican so say Christian right and Trump lied?
If it would make you feel better, I can admit that Trump has lied.
As to the Christian right? Who are they and where were they exactly when they lied?

And, Nick Fuentes is a vile, despicable man, espousing vile despicable things in a vile despicable manner.

Do any of you history buffs remember what the great ACA replacement plan was? You know, the specific details of the program that John McCain thwarted from his death bed? It was so good that the GOP has never tried again to implement it since then?
Since you’re a history buff, do you remember how the Democrat Affordable Healthcare act has caused premiums to double since it’s inception?

Calling it the Affordable Healthcare Act was the moral thing to do.
Hallelujah

Why would I make a "case" for such an atrocious piece of legislation?

I don't have to be a champion for the ACA to point out that the republican party has no clothes when it comes to a healthcare plan.

You should know that it is possible to ask questions about the Republican Party without being a shill for the Democrats.

The best healthcare plan is one where the government, either party, keeps their hands off.
I'm with you there. You won't mind if I don't hold my breath waiting for the GOP or Mr Trump to agree with us.

i agree...... none of them should have ever touched healthcare..... ... as imperfect as it was before obama it was still a lot better than the mess we have now............ in the last few years i have fought both my dads insurance company and his doctors attempting to just get the coverage and level of medical care his employers promised he would have at this stage in his life - and after working brutal jobs and faithfully paying into his health insurance plans his entire working life......

but ever since obama care and the aca made it mandatory to cover people who never worked and never paid into a health care plan - including illegal aliens...... his health insurance coverage has been continually downgraded and the costs increased ...... ..all so these other "americans" can be covered free of charge.... ....

and now - thanks to other ridiculous rules democrats put into place we are having to fight with the pharmacy too - who seems to think they are part of the governing body regulating health care........... the problem is none of those 3 entities can agree with each other and they each seem to be following a different set of rules..... ....

.being caught in the middle of them is like being stuck between the 3 stooges while they play the eye poke - head slap - and nyuk nyuk nyuk game.... then watching the insurance company do the curly shuffle backwards to avoid responsibility....

It's been said many times: if we want meaningful healthcare reform, we need to require elected officials to get their healthcare the same way us peons do.

One of my coworkers was recently informed that the company through which he was getting his Medicare Advantage plan is dropping his policy at the end of the year. In fact, where there used to be 3-4 providers in this area who offered Medicare Advantage, now only one does. He's trying to get everything straightened out and it's messy.

The naming of certain legislation has become laughable to the point that whatever it is named you can believe it is the opposite...like the Inflation Reduction Act or the Affordable Healthcare Act.

It's just a name to make garbage sound so much more palatable to the low information public.

They tried to kill Obamacare when Trump first came into office in 2017. Remember when RINO McCain did his famous "Thumbs Down" on the Republican bill therefore keeping Obamacare very much alive?

I said it then and I will say it now, The insurance industry has always been the primary culprit for rising healthcare costs. Instead of dealing with this undeniable truth, they came up with Obamacare which pretty much put the insurance industry in charge of medical care!

The ultimate goal of the Democrat Party was/is gubmit control or single payer healthcare.
Insurance companies and hospitals/healthcare providers are, in my opinion, often in cahoots to keep things as they are…but that’s just me.

I agree that the best thing would be for gubmit to be hands off, including removal of regulations and policies which support the status quo.

That is exactly right…it is deception knowing most people only scan the headlines and certainly want affordable care or inflation reduced.

And, yes Sub, I’m sure both parties practice such.

I’m also ‘with you’ there.
But there are some…not the majority…but some in politics who would also agree with us.

Short memory? The primary promise of the 2016 campaign was fixing Obamacare. The GOP had the house, senate and White House and did ... wait for it ... nothing. So much for "repeal and replace". Trump said he had a better plan ready to go. But you know how policies can be. Almost impossible unless you are in control of the entire decision making process. Oh wait. Never mind.
Let's be honest, which apparently you can't begin to be! Yes, the GOP had the House, The White House, and the Senate, but they didn't have the 60 votes needed in the Senate to make the fix to Obamacare a reality. The DemonCrats are using the same tactic by saying the GOP holds the Trifecta, but they won't be honest about need for 60 votes in the Senate. Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries keep trying to twist their narrative past the truth... typical!

So which was it, the Dems or John McCain?
