for those making all the noise in the news and running for office?.... .... already gone..... ship boarded and sailed......

for most of the others it;s simply the end result of 40 years hearing teachers in the schools tell them the politics of the left are "correct".... only to have older conservatives lend credence to the idea by using the phrase "politically correct" as a joke - - all the while failing to realize their kids didn;t get the joke ..... the kids took what they heard as confirmation the left really was "correct"....

their ship might be boarded and sailed already too - we will find out this november.....

but for those old enough to know better.... it;s a matter of them allowing full blown TDS to make their decisions for them..... not fully on board the socialist/communist death cruise... but they are so blinded by their hatred of the current president that they are latching onto anything that is not him....... even if it was something tossed to them directly from the left.... and even if it takes them down to a place of no return.... ..

most everybody here has seen the movie last of the mohicans... with daniel day lewis....

... most might not remember what hawkeye said at the beginning of the brothers sniping
attackers from a distance - while a courier runs to break through the lines.... but right
before the shooting begins hawkeye mentions the old myth of using silk as a patch for
the bullet - and says that it ads another 40 yards in effective range......

what he says is - - "silk... another 40 yards"...

black powder shooters not only rmember that scene.... they have discussed
it ever since.....

but is what hawkeye said true?......

I believe God has answered a key prayer that I have been praying.
I have asked him for something else, but it involves changing my heart.
That could be a whole lot more challenging.
Could use some prayer please.
 
I just ate the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. Monday, the local WinCo was selling pork shoulder for $1.78/lb, a deal I couldn't pass up. I smeared the shoulder with my special dry rub and hit it with apple wood smoke for six hours then finished it off in the oven for another six hours. I shredded the meat up and put some in the fridge. Yesterday, I made some sandwiches and it was okay. Today, I took some more meat out and warmed it up. Something magical happened over last night because the meat came out tender and moist, the smoke flavor having permeated fully. I couldn't bring myself to put any BBQ sauce on it. Just grilled ciabatta rolls and a generous helping of slightly tangy cole slaw. Yeah it was good.😋
