(first post in forever; I like to read everyone else's comments but many of you are a good decade or two or three ahead of me in life and I don't relate much to what many of you reminisce about. Still in my 20's.. On top of that, I have no strong opinions of my own that I feel need to sprawled...
Re: Mark Bosje
I still remember the feeling I had when I heard him say what he said about JS's books. Was watching the service on the internet. Very glad I was not at the service that evening. That instance was just one of the several that have taken place over the past year-and-a-half that...
I remember this individual at hac. To me, he always seemed to be an odd duck. Never seemed truly happy. Sad news, to be sure. And I agree with Exell's opening statement.
It's true. I don't know if he's made a public announcement regarding this, but word has leaked out. A relative of mine who is at the college confirmed this info.
I'm happy for him and a little jealous too :D... He's a good guy.
Regarding college enrollment.. a staff member recently told me...

One of the people who helped organize the HB alumni event specifically told me it was a "word of mouth" event. Not sure why they were so bent on not making it more public... I dunno. I went to it, it was nice for the most part. I think the organizers had good intentions and a good heart about...
On a technicality, i could be wrong, but I don't believe Marshall is on payroll. How much more gone could you want him? Don't think there's grounds to excommunicate him just for being on staff at one time.... and what exactly do you mean by these men are "being embraced"?
Weber's accepted an offer. And from what I've heard regarding Ken, he'll be here a little longer, maybe till the semester break, and then be going to the Cincy area to plant/start/take over a church. I do believe he'll be teaching at hac in the interim time.
