I have a thesis on this. Wrote it in College, so....25 years ago. A word study of "psalm, hymn, and song" delivered quite the insight. Psalm= to pluck...as in the instruments Hymn= to chant...the rhythm or percussion Song= the vocals, words...the singing part. Add em up, and you get: music. K.I.S.S.
