It's very rare to find elk meat for sale. Unless you hunt it yourself or do a huge favor for someone who does, it's highly unlikely you're going to get any. The only restaurant I have seen serve elk was one in West Yellowstone MT.
You might find some elk jerky in a tourist trap kind of place...
I used to have a MacArthur Study Bible; for me, the most useful part of it was his commentary at the start of each book. This was particularly helpful when I undertook an in depth study of the Minor Prophets, a study which proved to be of major profit for me.
