My point is that they helped me catch up from the years my salary was small. Churches who are able should help their Pastor’s prepare for retirement.
One assumes that, aside from the perks, the salary would be smaller but so would the expenses. A parsonage/housing usually includes utilities which accounts for most families major expense. I have never lived in a parsonage but many of the older churches down here still have them.
I’m sure that many churches don’t fund retirement accounts, but It is my experience that most churches do (offer some type of retirement income).

I said that “the current KJVO issue dates back to Ruckman and his ilk claiming the 1611 KJV was "new revelation" and superior to the original Hebrew and Greek”.
I believe that the KJV being superior to original manuscripts is akin to the earth being flat. That is just my opinion.
