Obey them that have rule over you, they watch for your souls. Children obey your parents in the Lord. “Follow me as I follow Christ”. All these come to mind.
Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 18:18
Jesus doesn’t seem to equivocate on the trust of authority He vests in His church.
The population explosion, global warming apocalypse, Y2K, Mayan calendars, rapture date setting….scaremongering has been big business for quite some time now.😎
Are you speaking of actual water/flooding? Or tongue in cheek about some Armageddon? In our area we’ve had several recent rounds of devastating flash floods. Ironically, the author/article linked in the OP makes the argument that the economic implications for prediction markets and becoming a...
I see. I suppose I can say I ain’t surprised. You said earlier “Freewill one word would view the Free Will two words as liberals”, so could you elaborate on what issues make up the division (ie, what makes them “liberal”)?

I imagine Flock is getting overwhelmed right now with feedback and questions from people. That doesn’t excuse their lack of response, but again, I would imagine they don’t have the resources to respond the avalanche of questions and requests given to them in this tempest.
In the other thread that I talked about going to the reformed church recently there were four “singers” on the left side of the church platform, and the musicians were on the right side. Of those four singers, one was much more clearly “performative” with their body gestures (including how they...
I think this begins to hit at the core of our discussion. Is the emotions that are affected by music a product of social conditioning to the music, or by the very nature of the sounds produced?
