    Phoster Club song

Missing words are ....Lost in the darkest [eternity]. I always called them the clappy ladies.  I ran a PC-type group for ladies, but while we did share testimonies, I cut out all the clapping. The Holy Spirit did /does the main work anyway.

    Phoster Club song

He's the Light that lighteth every soul And makes them know there is a God up above. But we must tell them His name has power to save; We must tell them of Christ and His love. Others are lost on the raging sea. .................eternity We have the Light for the lost to see - Jesus - the...

Did he just say that from behind the pulpit?

I once heard a good, ol' preacher tell a story about a soldier on  latrine duty who doused them with the wrong type of fuel before lighting them. After the explosion, the soldier acquired a new nickname, and although he did not want to tell it in church it started with an "S" and ended with...

Did he just say that from behind the pulpit?

Your Most Interesting Door Knocking Experiences

I think I've told this one on the forum before: Soul winning in Chicago - we knock on this one door and an expectant mother answers the door while on the phone.  (Remember the phones with the long cords you dragged all over your house?) It was my turn to talk, and I recall wondering why she...

Your Most Interesting Door Knocking Experiences

My bus calling partner was ill one Saturday, but practicing the "Don't call in; crawl in" philosophy.  She was the silent partner at one door, and as I was speaking to the person who answered, she leaned her head against the door frame.  Her eyes were closed, although I doubt she was actually...

Yes, she did, and I didn't know it until a lityle more than a year ago, and my SIL's family werected charter members of Pastor Mortow's church. SIL has been married to my brother for23 years, but I guess the topic of conversation about their pastor's adult children'should names never came up...

    PKs that attended HAC

My dad was a pastor.  Six of his seven children attended HAC for at least one semester.  However, he didn't send us there.  He guided us to follow God's will for our lives.
