Do people die during the Tribulation or 1,000 years?

I'm premillennial but post trib on the rapture. I don't believe saints will die during the 1,000 years.

The origin of the current version of the KJVO myth...

Based on your statements above, would you say that it was Peter Ruckman who brought KJV Onlyism to IFB churches? His book was published 1964 while Otis Fuller book was published in 1970.

Do you identify as a Fundamental Baptist

Ralph "Yankee" Arnold has praised men like Jack Hyles many times, so I'm surprised he does not identify himself as "IFB".

    Pastor John Wilkerson's teachings

One can quote from modern bible versions and still be a KJV onlyist. Peter Ruckman believed in "only one" confirms that he was a KJV onlyist. Obviously he did not believe the other versions were the word of God. Perhaps Ruckman himself did not burn bibles but his followers (Ruckmanites) have...

    Pastor John Wilkerson's teachings

I would say John Wilkerson is KJVO but not a Ruckmanite. He does not encourage people to burn up modern bible translations. He believes one can get saved with a modern version. The big difference with John Wilkerson is that he is committed to verse by verse teaching. Expository preaching was...

More from the New Independent Baptists

How did John R Rice differ with dispensationalism? He believed in a pre trib rapture and a future restoration for the nation of Israel.  He was probably what many refer today as a "modified dispensationalist". He rejected "replacement theology" so I don't think he held to covenant theology...
