The SBC has the lowest membership since 1995 and I think I know where some of them have gone. In Canada I attended a Baptist around 1994 that was part of the Canadian partner/offshot of the SBC. It was pretty small and soon had to dissolve the church. Meanwhile there was a trend towards the growth of Non-denominational churches. Many of them are small but there is one that has several campuses - very similiar to how Acts 29 network.  There are still SBC offshot (CNBC - Canadian National Baptist Convention) churches here but they are hardly noticed and not as visible. You are more likely to find a Baptist church that is independent or of another denomination than that. I think people see the attention that SBC gets in even the mainstream media and don't want anything to do with it. They are tired of all the fighting and want to go to a church that is conservative theologically but may have contemporary or traditional services.

You are correct, the men in this 'skit' are conservatives.
Again, in this context, conservative is a relative term.
Some think fundamental's (doctrine) of the faith...others think methods and music.
Their using Skynard does not cause me to doubt their conservative credentials.
I might question their taste in music, though.

There are many things (that actually matter) that give me cause for concern in the SBC today...this just isn't one of them.

Wait a minute...I thought this kind of and frequency of abuse only happened in IFB churches.  This article reveals cover ups, widespread abuse, pastoral ignorance of how to deal with it...the whole 9 yards.  This is obviously fake news or Dave Hyles, Greg Neal and the other IFB reprobates have obviously emigrated to the SBC and turned it into a sex cult.?

It has been commonly reported that generally speaking, SBC people DO have sex.  Whereas IFB's rarely have sex.  This is attributed to the constant wearing of suit and tie and consistent modesty of IFB females.
