I have a his study Bible in hardback and a few other of his books. I didn't see a thread so I thought I'd post it.

I trust he is with the Lord now, and I celebrate that.  But I think his study Bible is awful.

Don't tell FSSL...... He was too old an influence for him......

Even though FSSL really is a "chip off the old block"... when it comes to Ryrie.

My first Bible after I got saved was a Ryie Study Bible. The friend who led me to the Lord gave it to me as a gift. I think I might still have it; in a box of books out in my garage.

I have a Ryrie KJV study Bible and have found some value in his notes from time to time.

That said, he sided with Zane Hodges and the other antinomians on the other side of the so-called "Lordship Salvation" controversy, so I fear that his net contribution to Christianity has been a negative.
