camp granada with lyrics

A post from the "fighting Forum" got me thinking about Christian camp memories & decisions.

What are some or your favorite memories &/or decisions  made at camp.

Be sure to include  what camp, speaker, and any other details your willing to share.

Every summer we would go to Bill rice ranch... I loved it I gave my life to the Lord and I have never regretted my decision to live for the Lord... I can't remember who the speaker was...

I was thinking of the Bill Rice Ranch this morning!  I wish our church still went there.  What a life changing decision I made there as a teenager.  We were the best girls softball team anyone had.  We beat the snot out of Longview, Texas every year.  But I was saved under Bill Rice Ranch ministry.  I think the most fun was getting from Hammond to TN. Riding on a bus with no air conditioning, leaving after the Sunday morning service, driving until 3:00 am and then having to get up for all day activities.  By the end of the week we were exhausted, but so much fun.  Good memories.

I got saved at the age of 11, at Lake Lundgren Bible Camp in Pembine, Wisconsin. I have passed my love of Bibke camps on to my children. the attended Hoosier Hills in dillsboro, In (patty Doyle's fathers camp), and for th past 12 years it has been the wilds! My husband worked at Hoosier hills. Bible camps are a great ministry.
