We've lost nearly 30k Americans in just a little over a month. That rivals (on the low side) our annual death rate due to flu (for 12 months). I don't think you're comparing apples with apples. The REAL question is why don't we do these "preventative measures" for the flu?
Answer: Because the flu and flu-related deaths are acceptable. And you can't control the sheep that way.
I don't believe for a moment that those numbers are accurate. But help yourself. We've lost nearly 30k Americans in just a little over a month. That rivals (on the low side) our annual death rate due to flu (for 12 months). I don't think you're comparing apples with apples.
Being a former resident of Alton, THIS does not surprise me!The Alton, Ill., mayor said his wife showed a stunning lack of judgment in violating stay-at-home orders intended to stop the spread of coronavirus.www.huffpost.com
Hopefully, COVID-19 will claim one more victim and the mainstream media will die (not the people, but the modus operandi). When the postmortem is done on the media’s coverage of COVID-19 (and it will be), it will be clear that the virus was no Black Plague — it’s not even the flu on a bad year.www.washingtontimes.com
