A Democrat lawmaker is pushing a bill that could strip away Secret Service protection granted to former President Donald Trump if he is to be sentenced in any of the ongoing cases.​

You should at least say "Some" Democrats. Individual congressman propose legislation for the shock it provides and to draw attention to themselves and to apease their base. Most of these bills go no where. It's like the late John Conyers & proposed bill for reprations. He would sponser a bill every year but it went no where. They current reperations bill proposed by Representatives Jamaal Bowman calls for 14 tillion dollars to be given to the decendants of slaves. It has a few co-sponsers, but it will go no where just like this secret service bill.
