Faculty Reductions at BJU

Yes. It appears that way... The current President is/has been in a BJU bubble. His education is strictly from the university he now leads. His education terminated with a D.Min, not an academic degree like a Ph.D., or Th.D.

As long as IFB institutions do not bring in fresh, strategically and academically tested perspectives, they will inevitably fail.

Exactly. When I was at Maranatha, the good thing was that the non-Bible people (Business, Education, etc) all had non Bible college terminal degrees. It spoke well of the school.

The "What In the World BJU" web site currently lists enrollment figures based on how many pictures there are in the "Vintage" yearbook:

Freshman, 448, down by 36 from last year, smallest Freshman class in 20 years.

Sophomore, 442, down 62 from last year.

Junior, 374, down 11 from last year.

Senior, 488, up 18 from last year.

Total, 1734, down 89 from last year. [If those figures don't quite add up, blame it on the web site, not me. My guess is that total enrollment may be more than that, if some students did not show up for a Vintage pic].

Also, the web site has a brief clip of President Bruce McAllister addressing the BJU student body, praising the previous BJU presidents and then saying, "We're sorry for some of the things that you had to experience." It is not clear who are the "we" who are sorry, and there is no mention of what it is they are sorry for.
