On another thread it was mentioned that at Commonwealth Baptist College students must lock up their phones in their mailbox at night.

Can you name some far out or unreasonable rules (past or present) at christian schools & colleges.

Feel free to list the location or comment if other schools or colleges had similar rules.

I thought it was unreasonable that HAC dorm girls had to wear pantyhose when they were out of the dorms.

The only other rule I can think of that I absolutely disliked was HAC dorm girls being required to sign out on the paper taped to their room door any time they left the building.

Any time we left the building.

Even to go around the lake or to the DeCoster Gym.

It sure did boost the sales of "Q" size hose in the area.  :)

This is what they promised your mamma and daddy.

Is anyone else wondering how RAIDER knows panty hose sizes?

I got to go to Raider's girlfriend's office one afternoon for changing my name on my sign out sheet to ELVIS.

She wanted to know why I would do that and thought it was worldly and rebellious and yada yada yada.

I told her I was trying to find joy in a sign out sheet which represented Elvis. You know. He 'left the building.'

She looked at me and then just started belly laughing.

Huge loud boisterous non-ladylike laughter erupted from the office.

I still got demerits for being rebellious and she handwrote on it "impersonating Elvis."

They made great laundry bags.

I didn't like some of the rules, but I figured that it wasn't forever and I can tolerate most everything for a couple of years.
I did figure out a way to get around most of the dormitory rules...I GOT MARRIED in my junior year!

Confused with his "identity", he wore them under his football and basketball uniforms,
Now he believes he invented Under Armor.

One of the odder rules at HAC was one that prohibited dormitory females from doing the laundry of dormitory males. Why? As a lot these rules who knows?

Protecting them from skid-mark hysterics?

Ummmmm....this is not an 'odd' rule at all, in my opinion.

There is no way I would have wanted to do Raider's laundry when we dated.

Cleaning off my monitor... ;D

Both Christian colleges I attended, the stupidest rule for males were you had to wear a tie when attending classes. Second stupidest rule at BJU was you could not have a football on campus. They did not want us to break a leg but yet we could play soccer. Go figure.

I remember the championship intramural basketball game in '84.  As I left the court you yelled at me and I took off one of my socks and threw it to you in the stands.  I can still see you rubbing it all over your face.  Good times!
