Liberty is trying to deflect the criticism that they operated a real estate venture on behalf of the Falwell family....and the excess of information is purposeful IMO.

I have no doubt but that the original hit piece on Falwell Jr and Liberty were politically and spitefully motivated. I also have no doubt but that much of the info in said hit piece was exaggerated and/or false. I also have no doubt but that some of the allegations were true. I am a Liberty alumnus but no LU apologist. There are things in the article that give me pause and frankly didn?t surprise me.

I hope the truth comes into the open, that sin (as well as any legal wrongdoing) is dealt with in a Biblical manner and that the school is stronger for it in the long run.
