Finland puts Christians and Christianity on trial.

Does anyone else think this is a precursor to what we may be facing soon?

We already are facing prosecution for thought crimes. All the acts of hate crimes were already crimes before but they were amplified based on what the perpetrator was allegedly thinking.

Soon? No. In our children's life? Yes.

It's funny that the book discussed in the article and the beliefs could be freely shared in Russian now, but likely will soon be outlawed in a good part of Europe.

I think because of freedom of religion and speech in the constitution it will take a different turn in the US. Instead of being prosecuted by the govt it will be civil lawsuits by those offended. Much like bakers and photographers who refuse to embrace/celebrate the gay lifestyle are being sued now, soon it will be those who speak the wrong things or write the wrong things.

We have seen conservative politicical and ‘religious’ speech hindered more by oligarchy up to this point in time.
