We are expecting some snow flurries deep into the heart of Florida this weekend, not just near the Alabama/Georgia borders. ❄️

If we don't stop warming the globe it's going to get really cold. Got it.

Follow the science people. 🤔

Here in Piedmont NC, it’s colder than a witches’ backside!

It rained all night the day I left,
The weather, it was dry.
The sun so hot I froze to death,
Suzanna don't you cry.

Two devastating "storms of the century" with snow, ice and bitter cold down South in the last 2 weeks. But they tell us it's "global warming"

Let us pray that the "Wichita Lineman" can keep up with all those downed power lines.

"I know I need a small vacation
But it don't look like rain
And if it snows that stretch down south
Won't ever stand the strain"

"And I need you more than want you
And I want you for all time
And the Wichita lineman...
Is still on the line...."

Driving through an empty stretch of highway near Wichita once, I looked up at the telephone poles and the song got in my head. I began imagining that Glen Campbell was driving down the same stretch of highway when this song came to him.

Later, having that tune in my head, I looked it up and read that the song was written by Jimmy Webb after he had been driving through the western panhandle of Oklahoma. Talk about a fanciful image being shattered...

It’s a geographic area.
Specially I live in the Piedmont Triad.
I understand the area quite well. I grew up near Charleston, but my grandparents are from near the Mount Airy area, so I spent plenty of time in the region.

Sorry.
Your earlier comment led me to believe you weren’t familiar.
