Funny Conversations

I worked in a call center a couple of years ago.  Many of the people who worked around me were black.  The girl sitting across from me was in her 20s, thin and black.  She was usually pretty quiet.  One day I heard her hang up the phone and say in a slightly comedic voice, "I hate talkin' to black people."

We all laughed.  She was a hoot!

....anybody else?  Gotta funny conversation?

I sort of live in a "Bubba" area.

I overheard a young blonde girl talking to an older female friend who asked about her brother.  She said, "Well, Bubba is in jail now."

You'd probably have to live in my area to appreciate the Bubba humor.  Let's just say you don't want to be at Wal Mart on a Friday afternoon.  It is busy with a bunch of Bubbas.....and their family members.

In fact,  a relative who lives in the area told me that I should realize that people around here are offended when someone says they live in a trailer.  He said that the common response is, "I don't live in a trailer.  I live in a doublewide."
