God vs Science

The other day, someone upstairs posted a thread "God vs Science". They knew it was based on a lie but they "liked" it anyway. Several people did.

I think that is a shame.

Not only was that story just ONE version of several going around, but Einstein had nothing to do with it. It was a LIE. He not only was not a Christian, he didn't even believe in the afterlife. But because that story supposedly helped their "side", they overlooked that it was a LIE. A very telling thing, indeed.

The real crime came, though, on what was said about evil being simply the absence of God. It simply is not true, based on the Bible.

It is commonly held that God can't be in the presence of evil; that he has nothing to do with it and that he did not create it (although he created EVERYTHING).

If evil is simply the absence of God, then he, himself, used his absence on many occasions.

He brought his "absence" on others, entered his "absence" in others, hardened others hearts with his "absence".

That whole article posted was not true. And it ought to be identified as such.
