This is not that uncommon. My wife just finished a book by a non-Christian on transgender movement, and they reported that the trend to transition back, or at least want to, is growing.

This is true. There are trans people who we have worked with in the past who have talked to us about transitioning back to their sex at birth. Of course, they never really were anything else...just confused individuals.
