Looking for a computer / way to get a used treadmill

If anyone has anything that could be talked about regarding a computer, you're welcome to pm if you
prefer.

I didn't know if any church or anyone would have anything extra, and it's embarrasing to ask but I thought I'd post just to make the inquiry.

I'm on disability due to physical injuries from an accident. So with my bills etc I don't have the means to purchase a computer. I'm wanting a computer for research and a way to do homework. I'm wanting to
do some Bible studies while I'm home trying to recover. I also have been working on designing my own tract and would like to get it finished up and published.
I have funding scholarship in place and would like to be able to have a pc to finish my bachelor's degree as well and at least be accomplishing something while I'm trying to recover.

But I don't have a computer. I have a monitor that might still work and I have a keyboard.
I don't do any gaming.
I have creative design experience with publisher and would do some of that and some picture editing because photography is a hobby of mine. So I don't need anything high end. Just something I could use for a while.

I'm wanting to give or do something for it though.
I don't know if there's a church or someone with an extra desktop computer?
I know shipping would be high. Maybe I could pay for shipping or help design some bulletins or something in
exchange for a computer?

It's embarrasing to ask but it's a need so I thought I'd just put the question out there and see if I could do
something in exchange for a desktop that might last me two or three years until hopefully I could upgrade or something later.

Thanks for listening. Also I'd use it for researching medical physicians as they're tossing me around to specialists right now.

Secondly I'm needing to get a used treadmill so I can be trying to improve my injuries little by little this
winter. I found a good used one for a good price locally but it's not affordable.
Again I'm not asking for a handout though. .but if anyone had either one of these and I could work out an exchange of some kind for either one of these. They're needs but I want to be responsible and helpful to the other person too. With my injuries the dr wants me doing the treadmill instead of walking at the gym or outside.

Julie, a pawnshop might be your best option. Shipping a used computer will probably cost more than the computer is worth. Ask at church and other places, because a lot of people have obsolete computers that still work stored away somewhere.

Check out newegg.com and search for refurbished computers (preferably refurbished HP or Lenovo).  You can find them without a monitor for really low prices.  I bought one for my son, and it has been in excellent running condition for 2 years now.  His was about $450 IIRC, but there are much cheaper PCs that should do the job.  For example, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883266555 for $219 or even this minimal low-powered HP http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883280661 for $114. Many of these deals have free shipping.

Thank you. Yes I'd heard of newegg before. For some reason, I was thinking it was just parts only.
I'd really like to finish drafting my testimony tract and get it published, as well as be able to do some extra Bible studies etc while I'm under the current setbacks and healing and have the time for the extra study.

I have a mouse and keyboard. I'm not sure if my monitor is still working. So, at least a desktop and possibly a small monitor as well both would be great and enable me to do more in my condition. Thanks for the website idea.
