While we were students at HAC we heard a multitude of preachers.  Many preachers stopped by HAC chapel and spoke to us.  Pastor's School brought in the big guns.  So here's our topic - Who were some of your favorite preachers that you heard at HAC or FBCH?

*As always, one preacher per post.

You had to have been there and not known anything about what was going on behind the scenes...................Dave Hyles

It is amazing, but after hearing hundreds of preachers at HAC/FBCH, I still would rather have heard Dr. Hyles.

Tom Williams.  I was in chapel the first time he came and spoke.  He gave his testimony and preached through half of the lunch period.  There wasn't a dry eye in the place.

John R. Rice.  When he came and preached he was near the end of his life.  He repeated himself and had to sit down for a few minutes during the sermon.  You could feel you were in the presence of greatness.

Jim Jorgenson.......................just kidding!!  :)

He might not actually be first on my list, but his name was the first that came to mind....Jim Delaschmitt.

Much like one of Raider's listed above, I did like Joe Combs' preaching.

I didn't mind him.  He was a truly good guy.  His preaching and teaching seemed shallow.
