Whew, I just made the cut.
If your not doing anything wrong then more audits should not be an issue. Those I know who were audited provided the requested info or proof and everything was fine.
Most people are filing short form now with the $27,000 standard deduction for a couple. With some mortgage interest and healthy church and charatible giving it's still hard to exceed the $27,000 limit.
Now if they are targeting a particular political, ethinic or regional group of tax payers then I have a huge problem with that.
