Parking Spot Verse

The idea is that Hitler claimed some strange kind of Christianity, and many Jews will say "Christians killed the Jews in the Holocaust". That comes from my neighbor who is Jewish.

Is it common in the States to allow school staff to customize their parking spaces? It never would have occurred to me that a parking spot would become a First Amendment issue. Painting a Bible verse or anything else would have been a non-starter back home.

Some schools use it as a fundraiser method. Students (usually from an art class) will paint the parking spots to raise money for a field trip or extra classroom supplies.

Actually, that was my first thought as well. I never seen that done before in a public school situation.

Yeah, I was aware of that connection to Hitler, but that sort of guilt by association and stereotyping is part of the problem in people's over generalized sloppy thinking, especially as it pertains to thin-skinned people taking offense. It would be like me saying that all Jews are money grubbing banker wannabes.
