Pence Finally Smells the Coffee

Pence was right about how he handled January 6, but his interview with Tucker showed his attachment to the Industrial Military Complex and sealed any primary vote against him that I would cast.
I really like the guy. Back in the early '00's as he was beginning his Congressional career I was in circles that joked his district had a striking similarity to New Hampshire. Well, those aspirations are over. He's a good guy. I wish him well. The presidency was not to be.

In 2016 Pence was the only candidate on either ticket who had actually held an executive office. Even if you disapprove of his policies, he would proably have been a competent president, at least if he didn't turn out to be Jimmy Carter II.

As much as I love Jimmy Carter, I feel he probably would have been a Republican version of Jimmy in many ways.

Reality has set him for him, as it will for others - soon.

i know it leaves a lot of baptists depressed who were pipe-dreaming the possibility of a pence presidency.... but a country that leads the free world in the modern age, needs wisdom and leadership in the white house - a lot more than it needs the pence brand of piety and sanctimony.... ..the vast majority of rank and file republicans knew that years ago..... too bad it took the one time second in command republican this long to figure it out - but at least he did finally figure it out.. ...
