he's in the hospital in Crown Point, Indiana. He was on staff for 30 + years at the college and church. He was released from his duties. We love this family!! Clyde would tease me about liking my husband before we ever starting dating.........Please remember him in prayer!!

Thanks for the update. Have been swamped at work was planning on going over to the hospital today since it is my day (well, afternoon) off. Glad to hear of his improvement.

qwerty, I spoke to Jean and she said they brought someone in to advise them to how to save monies..........the gentlemen said lay everyone off well that's when Clyde got the axe and Jean left with him..........Stop by and see him at home..........I keep thinking of the wages of sin is deep and stretches many miles wrecking others lives........Clyde didn't deserve this......Hopefully others will learn from this lesson in life!!!

Sorry to hear he got laid off.

Does he still live opposite the college?

I had heard 2 stories - that house was owned by the college and also that he owned it. Which is true?

Will pray for his health.

Yes Clyde owns his home the  college gave it to him years ago............he worked there 40 years ....we are just glad Clyde is doing good. He was a tough boss to work for but looking back Clyde loved my husband as a brother. They have always called and kept in touch.
