Elon Musk takes Trump feud to next level with more Epstein files claim
Donald Trump branded Elon Musk 'the man who has lost his mind' as he brushed off the world's richest man's efforts to reconcile their shattered relationship.
I do not know the inside story but it appears to me that these things are in play:The forum has been eerily quiet about this recent development.![]()

Sad but true. Especially that last line.I do not know the inside story but it appears to me that these things are in play:
Elon Musk has suffered for exposing government waste, fraud and irresponsibility.
Those things are not even on the radar of the political establishment, in fact gives them grief. And they react by attacking Musk. The result is Musk’s finances and business interests took a huge hit.
Musk, who believes he put his neck out for Trump, feels disrespected by the President.
No more tax breaks for EV purchases not the least of the problem. He also really feels that the debt must be addressed and this big beautiful bill stinks in that, and many other areas.
Trump and Musk have oversized egos and think highly of themselves. Trump is, as I have said here often, an egomaniac and a narcissist. Maybe Musk shares those traits to some extent.
Bottom line is the bill needs to pass for the short term economy’s sake…specifically maintaining the tax cuts. I don’t like the bill and agree with Musk for the most part.
I, unlike some here, do understand political reality…which is why you (Huk) and I voted Trump. He was and still is exponentially better than the Democrat alternative.
What do you mean the worst is over?Tesla stock and Elon's net worth are recovering quickly. Perhaps the worst is over.
I think you pretty much hit the nail on the head. Musk took a big financial hit in order to help Trump and to “serve his country.” However, it was never altruistic on the part of Musk and he expected to get those losses refilled with the tax bill. My guess is Trump promised this to Musk and then Musk went ballistic when Trump reneged on his promise.I do not know the inside story but it appears to me that these things are in play:

Did Musk actually do that? All I saw was that he linked his name to the Epstein files. You’re really asking a loaded question.Who here seriously believes Musk's accusation of pedophilia?
Well, for about the last two weeks news has been talking about Elons drug use. And then he comes out with this tweet.Who here seriously believes Musk's accusation of pedophilia?
Right. He was saying Trump was pure as the driven snow.Did Musk actually do that? All I saw was that he linked his name to the Epstein files.
I'm asking the obvious question. Here's another obvious question: Are you being deliberately obtuse, or are you really that dimwitted? You’re really asking a loaded question.
Well, let’s just say I understand the difference between a libelous statement and an interrogative statement.Right. He was saying Trump was pure as the driven snow.

It's for sure that Trump has no interest in doing what has to be done....our country is doomed and the GOP can't/won't do a blasted thing about it.
In Trump's case it's more of a can't than won't.It's for sure that Trump has no interest in doing what has to be done.
If you’re talking about doing something about the debt and deficit, neither Trump, the Democrats, the Republicans have such. It would require changing Social Security and Medicare. It's for sure that Trump has no interest in doing what has to be done.
I certainly don't disagree. But cutting the defense budget, plus getting rid of other unconstitutional agencies (and their costs), would be a first step. But again, these clowns don't have the desire to do any of that. They are enemies of the Republic. Their record proves that.If you’re talking about doing something about the debt and deficit, neither Trump, the Democrats, the Republicans have such. It would require changing Social Security and Medicare.
