I can see it…it does look similar.
I can see it…it does look similar.
What I get tired of is how certain segments of society are able to get away with just about any malfeasance, while other segments of society will be blasted for anything and everything.I suppose so, but only because people are super-prone to seeing offense around every corner, but I get tired of the whiny-ness of this generation (not just on Woke issues, but on entitlements, therapeutic mindsets, etc).

I don’t recall that incident, but I did experience that exact same incident in my life (about a year before the D.C. incident you referenced). I was in college and working a part time job when a supervisor used that same term in a staff meeting in which 1/4 of the employees present were black. It didn’t go over very well for the blacks and the white supervisor dealt with some fallout for a couple days. Ironically, not long afterwards, she used the real n-word and was fired. That was around the early part of ‘98 in South Carolina. As would any harmless word with an N and a GA in it. Do you remember the controversy over "niggardly" back in 1999? Same thing: taking offence where none was offered.
Examples? What I get tired of is how certain segments of society are able to get away with just about any malfeasance, while other segments of society will be blasted for anything and everything.

If they watch Blazing Saddles, their faces would melt.I suppose so, but only because people are super-prone to seeing offense around every corner, but I get tired of the whiny-ness of this generation (not just on Woke issues, but on entitlements, therapeutic mindsets, etc).
Not taking the bait. We both know which groups get a pass by the media.Examples?
Yes - I believe she purposely used a word that sounded similar to the one she’d later use, and I also believe she knew many of the black folks (particularly younger ones) wouldn’t be familiar with the word “niggardly” and would make a fool of themselves getting upset over something that would expose their lack of vocabulary.Sounds like she was intending offense from the beginning. The baseball team wasn’t, and to me that’s all the difference in the world.

Malfeasance is just a blanket word for wrongdoing—both criminal and tort, but yes, also in political context as well. From criminal perspective, look at the media’s coverage of the Capitol rioters vs the nationwide BLM riots. Politically, we can all see the hypocritical dichotomy between Trump prosecutions and the Biden family (although even the liberal media is slowly starting to realize it can’t hide the Biden’s corruption for much longer). So far, I’ve only mentioned the role of the media, but it extends to criminal prosecutorial matters as well, particularly in regions with the George Soros sponsored prosecutors. I don’t have time to get into all of the specific case examples, but they’re easily accessible online and in well known heavily Democratic areas like California, Oregon, Seattle, Chicago, New York, etc.I thought it was a strange word usage which caused ambiguity regarding whatever it is you are alleging, just looking for clarification, no bait intended.
