*Updated* Asotin County Prosecutor Ben Nichols Killed in Crash Involving Motorcycle on Friday

Ben Nichols has been the Asotin County prosecutor for several years. Mrs. abcaines and I have voted for him consistently. Mostly because he always ran unopposed. Asotin County being a small community, you'd bump into him from time to time. From news reports, I'd see how he did his job and I had respect for him. Very few personal interactions with him but I knew him to be a decent human being. I had jury duty just last month and I saw him in action. It was obvious he was highly respected even among defense attorneys. Huge loss for the community.
