Schaap wants out of jail

I am fairly certain that he must register as a sex offender, which should keep him out of the ministry because he has to stay away from children. Churches could risk legal ramifications if they allow him to speak, be on staff, etc.
Who said he'll pastor in America?

I see Australia in his future.

I don't if Schaap would fit in well with the Hellsong crowd. They appear to be more into molesting little boys, not girls.

If that's the case they may want to keep an eye on Hillsong New York Heretic Carl Lentz. Based on how he dresses, he may be in the closet as he claims there is nothing wrong with homosexuality or abortion. Lentz as well Brian Houston are a part of the "Homosexuals Are Going To Heaven" group that also includes Steven Furtick, Ray Boltz, Josh Harris, and Blaine Bartel. Wouldn't be surprised if Schaap joined them also.

Also if you read Blaine Bartel's book he mentions having communications with Schaap behind bars as both are fallen pastors. One of Bartel's son's was busted for statutory rape and taking a girl across the state lines like Schaap.

No one in their right mind would sit under his speaking....he can never be trusted..............

So Schaap will be getting out early now with some other pedophiles? Looks like the new "Homosexuals Are Going to Heaven" crowd also defends pedophiles like Jacob Blake and Schaap. You can thank Blaine Bartel and Brian Houston for help lead the movement.

sawthruglassclearly raises an important and unpleasant question:

"I am fairly certain that he must register as a sex offender, which should keep him out of the ministry because he has to stay away from children. Churches could risk legal ramifications if they allow him to speak, be on staff, etc."

The Chicago Tribune reported that Schaap will be registered as a sex offender for the rest of his life. One small church (in 2009) hired a convicted sex offender after he completed his parole, and there were no restrictions afterwards in him pastoring. Some states forbid sex offenders from living close to churches, but I cannot find anything on the internet about a state forbidding a sex offender to pastor after he has completed his sentence.

I found a Christian site that defended the practice claiming that if Jesus forgave him, Christians must forgive him. However, trusting him is another issue. One group claims that the congregation must be trained to accept a sex offender as member, while ignoring the fact that many people will leave the church if that happens.

Not to worry. Schaap and his former BinL will start a new ministry together, "Perverts Anonymous".

Schaap will also be affiliated with Blaine Bartel (another perv who was fired from his mega church for having affairs and appearing in a soft core porn film). Schaap will also be with Carl Lentz who was recently fired from Hellsong for having an affair with a Muslim woman.
