Steve Anderson on X

God wanted him to find out that 9/11 was a fraud.

Ok?? Where in the Bible does it say that God wanted him to find out that 9/11 was a fraud.

His poor kids.

I’m not going to go along with his rhetoric on the 9/11 stuff, but since we’re on the topic of the Middle East, I’m still waiting for evidence of those WMDs in Iraq that was used as justification for that part of the war initiated by George W. Bush. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I agree 100% and I was fooled when they invaded.

Now we are still funding Israel and Zeylinsky and bombing Yemen and might be going to war with Iran.

People will say, I don’t trust our government. Really? What about the list I listed above?

There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Dubya admitted that.

Now we are getting ready to go to war with Iran, over weapons of mass destruction that they don't have.

  • The U.S. intelligence community made an assessment in 2007 that Iran hasn't had an active military nuclear program since 2003. That assessment hasn't changed, U.S. officials told Axios.
  • One U.S. and one Israeli official said both countries' intelligence agencies do not have any indication that Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei ordered the military nuclear program to be resumed.
Another U.S. official said there was "no change to our assessment that Iran is not currently undertaking the key nuclear weapons development activities necessary to produce a testable nuclear device."

I don't endorse all of Steve Anderson's rhetoric, but I can see why he is concerned about us getting into more wars in the Middle East based on false pretenses. All of us should be concerned.

Anderson is a 9/11 and Holocaust denialist, so I'm going to be concerned about false pretexts for war without his reality-denying ravings. People who speak into a complex issue based on false premises only confuse and dilute the issue.

To say nothing of his terrible theology. Anderson doesn't speak for me, Baptists, Christians, or anyone but himself.

Yes, this is a case where there may actually be some truth, for a change, in what Stevo is saying, but his overall credibility rating is so low that it would be better if he just kept quiet.

It doesn't take much cyanide to make the whole bucket of Kool-Aid lethal.

Spamderson as he used to be called, is getting this clip passed around X by normal evangelical pastors.

I am no fan of Spamderson but on this point, I do not entirely disagree with him.

Shame on all of the evangelical preachers who are giving legitimacy to Steven Anderson by retweeting his posts! I think we can speak up in a fair, balanced, and biblical manner minus all of the nuttiness!
