I don't want a tax cut.

I want maintained bridges.
I want well-paid teachers.
I want clean water.
I want natural parks left intact to view God's handiwork in nature.
I want renewable energy.
I want clean air to reduce pollutants.
I want less infant mortality.
I want (and will need) Medicare when I retire.
I want to see those who want to live under a roof has that opportunity.
I want to see everybody eat as needed to maintain health.
I want social services to help employ and house refugees.
I want well paid police officers and other civil servants.
I want mass transit availability.
I want medical coverage for preexisting conditions.
I want children to be able to afford college.
I want to see my father-in-law be able to extend his life because of government grants that pay for his bi-weekly infusions to slow his incurable and debilitating disease.

So yeah, I don't want a tax cut.

I do want taxes managed better.
I don't want taxes paying for politicians settlements for harassment.

Yes, I pay more taxes than I am required. I don't take deductions for charitable contributions. And no, I don't make anywhere near 6 figures in income. I believe that to take from Caesar because I gave to God is not ethically right (for me. I don't judge others who do.)

So we will see where we are 3 years from now when his first term is nearing an end. We will see what happens to the poor, watch the abortion rate rise and see if the mortality rate increases.

I really hope I am completely wrong about this but only time will tell.

I say eliminate the income tax.  Implement a national sales tax.  Do not tax necessities (staple groceries; utilities; etc.).  Tax luxury purchases;  tax on gasoline; tax anything not necessary for daily subsistence.  No tax on basic transportation.  Exorbitant tax on luxury vehicles.  Etc.

Those guys celebrating at the White House today looked like a bunch of morons celebrating a Little League baseball victory.

The $2,000 mandate hurt my 19 year old when she did her taxes the first year. She made $10,000 and they took $100 from her.

And none of them will vote to cut spending.

41 people died last night because they will be paying less in taxes.

It is easy to win when you outnumber your opponent.

You would think with that attitude the Democrats would have been more successful when they were in power.....
