S/he’s probably going to say something about modifying the way God intended a person to look, but if that’s the case, why exercise, comb your hair/get a haircut, cut your nails, use medication for any illness, etc. Silliness!

Nowhere in the Bible does it say you shouldn't improve your looks. Ridiculous to try and put other ideologies into your head.

Color me skeptical that you’re being genuine. If you are, you should also consider a church that believes in handling venomous serpents.
Teeth are ornamental as well functional. Straightening them and evening them as sheep that are even shorn is putting them in their intended place.

Crooked teeth aren't just a cosmetic issue. They cause other health problems. Being harder to brush, you're more susceptible to cavities and gum disease. If someone told me, for example, that I'd be sinning to get my kids braces, I'd dismiss their bad advice out of hand.
