It is built into the fiber of that place. It is not just one thing but rather a sum of the whole. That is what make it so difficult to recognize from inside the walls of the compound. That is how it was for those in the Peoples Temple out in California under another Jim and it did not end well for them.

Like FBCH, I think their name will continue to be "Ichabod" until they acknowledge the sins of the Vineyard family (FBCH needs to acknowledege the sins of the Hyles family)
