Gives new meaning to going 2-by-2.

How tragic.

Indeed.

"and Parakh, a 32-year-old creative pastor"

Creative pastor?  ??? I think that's the first time I've seen that one.

Sounds like a pastor whose primary purview is what we call the "worship arts" at our church. (There's nothing wrong with having a pastor in charge of one aspect of church operations, of course; division of labor is, after all, a biblical concept!) Worship arts would consist primarily of music, naturally, but also other creative arts like video and multimedia - whatever creative or artistic expression is used as part of the worship service. Theologically broader evangelical churches also sometimes incorporate dance and visual arts (though not us).

Hope that helps. I don't want to distract further from the more serious topic of the thread, though.

Well someone is going to have to be creative in how they handle this mess.  :-\

Tragic.

is it worth pointing out on this forum that these are not IFB people?  This stuff is happening in all denominations, not just the one that most of us grew up in.  Maybe it is time to stop being mad at a denomination and start being mad at sin in general.

Oh sure, be the voice of reason.  ::)

;)

Good point BTW

The widespread nature of these type situations cannot be diminished.  What I firmly believe we are seeing is the natural results of a generation raised on pornography.  I do not expect it to get better in either secular or evangelical circles--porn is simply too prevalent.
