If someone made a statement and people deny they made that statement is that a lie?

So we find out that Sub doesn’t know the difference between a politician putting his finger in the air to find out which way the wind is blowing, and acknowledging that a man like Jimmy Carter who claimed to be a born again Christian who promoted everything that goes against the plain teachings of scripture was not being honest to his faith.
What is a Hypocrite

Even a soulless AI know the difference between the truth and a lie.

If someone accuses a Christian of being a preterist who believes Christ returned in AD 70, in spite of zero evidence to support the accusation, is that a lie?

Ransom, I acknowledged I was ignorant of many of the beliefs of Reformed theology and I apreciate you making me aware of those things. I don't understand why I was attacked by quoting Sub and then being attacked by saying I was making it up. We all make mistakes but we should also be humble enough to admit it.
