Turns out that Epstein had a plumber friend named Donald Trump! What a cowinkydink!

😉

If someone made a statement and people deny they made that statement is that a lie?

“Yes, if someone knowingly made a statement and then denies it, that denial is a lie because it's a deliberate untruth intended to deceive, often to avoid responsibility, and in legal contexts (like under oath), it can be perjury, a serious offense. A lie involves a false statement made with the intent to mislead, and denying a known truth fits this definition perfectly, even if the initial statement was informal.”

Proof matters: The key is proof; if you can show they said it (e.g., recording, text), their denial confirms they are lying.”

If a Christian acts diametrically opposed to what his faith teaches is he being honest to his faith?

“No, a Christian acting diametrically opposed to their faith’s teachings is generally seen as not being honest to their faith, demonstrating hypocrisy, and failing to live out their beliefs, though their internal faith and salvation might be considered separate from their inconsistent actions by some theological perspectives, which emphasize grace and God's focus on the heart rather than perfect behavior. Such behavior contradicts core Christian principles of integrity, truthfulness, and following Jesus's example, often leading to poor testimony and undermining the faith in the eyes of others.”

So we find out that Sub doesn’t know the difference between a politician putting his finger in the air to find out which way the wind is blowing, and acknowledging that a man like Jimmy Carter who claimed to be a born again Christian who promoted everything that goes against the plain teachings of scripture was not being honest to his faith.

What is a Hypocrite

“A hypocrite is a person who pretends to have certain virtues, moral beliefs or principles that they do not actually possess. Most commonly, it refers to someone whose actions contradict their stated beliefs or who criticizes others for behaviors they are guilty of themselves.”

Even a soulless AI know the difference between the truth and a lie.

If someone accuses a Christian of being a preterist who believes Christ returned in AD 70, in spite of zero evidence to support the accusation, is that a lie?

Ransom, I acknowledged I was ignorant of many of the beliefs of Reformed theology and I apreciate you making me aware of those things. I don't understand why I was attacked by quoting Sub and then being attacked by saying I was making it up. We all make mistakes but we should also be humble enough to admit it.

You weren't "ignorant." You were mendacious. Physician, heal thyself.

Thank you for knowing my heart. The conversation is over.

Yes, when you end the conversation or "agree to disagree," it's always a tacit admission.

"I don't know what Ransom believes" = ignorance.

"I don't know what Ransom believes, so I'll call him a preterist" = mendacity.

You're the last person on this forum to be accusing anyone of hypocrisy or lying.
