it probably violates agreements made between nato leaders and gorbachev in 1990 for nato to even be considering ukraine membership... and definitely violates the agreement for nato to be arming ukraine... .... the promise made to gorbachev when negotiations were being made over the reunification of germany.. and russias departure from other countries held after ww2, was that nato would not move even 1 inch to the east.... ....of course nato already violated that part of the agreement mutliple times long before russia invaded ukraine... or even crimea...... ..

i think the primary reason biden has been so interested in supporting the war in ukraine.. .pushing nato to intervene... and even taking steps to prevent peace agreements there was to cover and destroy evidence of the biden family corruption that has gone on there since he was vp under obama... ...but once he believes all trace of wrongdoing that could lead back to him is gone he will abandon all interest in ukraine and leave them to fend for themselves - no doubt referring to the budapest aggreements himself as an excuse......

biden is a slimeball... anyone who trusts him will be far worse off in the end that they would have been otherwise... a lesson zelenzky is learning the hard way now.... and which american democrats probably never will learn... even when it happens to them....
