Hacker Trivia!!

I don't know the answer to this, but it is a good question:

What student was a student the longest?
Joe Elwell set the record for the most years it took to graduate, with 13.
Don't know if someone took classes in more years than that.

I would hazard Larry Haygood for the longest student award...

He spans decades, for sure.

I am going to present this in an easy way:

Identify this location and explain its significance to IFB.

"For what hymn was Dr. Evans famous (among HAC students) for leading in chapel?"

"And Can It Be"

Nice job, Patriotic and BALAAM!

I believe you have to include "Pearly White City" also.  He even changed the timing of the song frequently throughout.  If a HACker takes the song to another ministry, he must first meet with the pianist and inform her that we should disregard all of the written music.
No one mentioned Hail to the King Immanuel.

That was also classic Dr. Evans.

Where was the most famous spot that a student (who was an idiot) would street preach?

The corner of Routes 30 and 41!

Nicely done, qwerty, BCH, and Binaca Chugger!!

A blank screen which is a microcosm of a Hackers mind???????  :)

Is this where Dr. Hyles yelled, "I'll take the bus kids!!!"?

What did Dave Hyles once purchase that his dad was against?  After being calmly reprimanded he returned it.

Now, play nice on this one.  :)

What theme park was an annual destination for the bus kids?
Was that the 'big" amusement park in Shererville?

But what was the name of the park?

Oh - and SChererville has a "C" in it!  Not normally a stickler, but it is my hometown!

Kiddie Land?

Both you and Balaam have it right - Sauzer's Kiddie Land.  It was torn down many years ago, I don't remember when.

Google is amazing.  Was torn down in 1994.  IF you want the memories:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZZppPiT3hc

I only went a couple times as a real little kid.  Still have a pic of my siblings and I on the car-go-round.

Wow.  Mrs. Chugger is laughing at me because now I am on a trip down memory lane (not the HAC one) and actually shed tears over this one:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-OXMfBW3sM

Sorry, I was trying to figure out how to post a pic in the post instead of attaching it.  I initially put in a link to the google street view, but that was too easy.

Good one!  It would have to be from his younger years, and something that was not obviously wrong, just a preference, so here are a few guesses:

Fashionable clothing - maybe bell bottoms or a pink shirt?
Baseball cards or poster - idolizing sports heroes?

Is this in Dallas where Jack's dad hollered at him?
