Franklin Graham has been outspoken on many social and moral issues in America which many believe is nothing but "politics." How is what Franklin Graham and other Christian leaders speaking out on social and moral issues any different than what the apostle Paul did when he spoke out on social and moral issues?

1 Cor 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Has the church and Christian leaders come to the point that instead of warning men and women they will be condemned before God if they refuse to repent but instead quietly allow them to go to hell without warning for fear of offending someone?

"There are some ministers who never mention anything about hell. I heard a minister who once said to his congretation - 'If you do not love the Lord Jesus Christ you will be sent to that place which is not polite to mention.' He ought not to have been allowed to preach again, I am sure, if he could not use plain words." (Spurgeon}

"Well, He (Jesus) spoke a lot about hell and it is a subject that people avoid today because it is a negative thought…. The Bible says that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.” This “perish”—what is this about? This place that we go if we fail to obey, if we fail to follow, if we fail to accept God’s salvation—His Son Jesus Christ—what are the consequences to this? I think it is important for people to know the consequences, and give them an option, give them a choice, give them a chance. They have a decision: they can say yes, they can say no. I want to be faithful and make sure they understand what the choices are." (Franklin Graham)

Um...

The linked article is from 2015.

As far as losing faith in the GOP and other supposedly "conservative" political bodies, I'm right there with Franklin. "Conservatives" have been a huge disappointment for decades. The only voting I have ever done since the Reagan administration is to vote against various candidates, understanding that the individual for whom I am casting my vote will disappoint less than his/her opponent.

I'll vote third party only during primaries if there is a viable candidate. In general elections where there are only two choices (even though there are more listed) I vote against the liberal, which happens to be the democratic nominee.

This represents my feeling exactly. No matter how bad the Republican is, the Democrat is always far worse. Read the Democratic platform, and what they stand for, and tell me any Christian could support most of it.

The Blue Dog Democrats are a thing of the past and the Conservative Christian Democrats that vote that way no longer exist.

I’m curious to see if anyone responds besides maybe smellin’. Other than him I don’t recall interacting with any Biden backers.

For all his other woo, Smellin has also consistently denied being a Democrat.

So does that mean some of you plan to not vote at all in the fall.

I'm sure I have read some of you say you could never vote for Trump.
