You realize the questions in 53:1 are rhetorical, right?
Only if you mean he was saying no one understood or believed his prophecies at that time.

The only possible way they can be rhetorical in the sense that everyone already understood what he was prophesying about is if you get rid of multiple other verses in the Bible to make that theory work. All of God's word's stand; it is men's understanding of God's words that shift over time. Hopefully men constantly shift their own human understanding to align closer with God's words, which never change.

So no need to go watch a redundant video when everything it says is already in the Bible, then.
This reminds me of the Mormons. Ya, we believe the Bible just like you. But what you really need is the book of Mormon (UCG's Videos) to help explain the Bible.

What? You were the first one to immediately quote the video itself in the original thread in which it was posted and attempted to blast it with verses, almost all of which were addressed in the video itself, some of them at the very beginning. How embarrassing it must be to go around smear campaigning without even knowing the other side's position.

"I don't have the slightest clue what this guy believes. So I'm just going to construct a strawman of my own liking, quote his video, and bombard it with verses. I'm crossing my fingers these verses will address what's in is video, no clue as I haven't seen it. I heard this guy once talked about Ruckman, so I'm going to grab something Ruckman once said that will appear ridiculous to the general audience and claim that's his position too." -tmjbog

You're a labyrinth of fallacies and deception, mole (even your avatar is a picture of a literal mole):
You consider yourself a 4 out of 5 star Ruckmanite. You are free to jump in at any point (water circulatory system, many plans of salvation, cain as the precursor of the black race) say "Ruckman was crazy"

The Ultimate Scale of "Ruckmanite" and Those Falsely-So-Called (created for dire demand by UGC)
(we simply compared it to Yelp reviews, or any other 5-star rating scale):

Ruckmanites: would rate Ruckman 5 stars. Their pastor most likely graduated from PBI. I personally have little experience irl with these folks, so I can't judge them.
Ruckman Readers (RR): 4 stars. They actually read a book of his (yes, the whole book), then a few more + aren't fearful of Anti-Ruckmanites in public. They don't agree with the Doc on everything, and have studied plenty of other teachers. (UGC is here)

1. Peter knew Jesus was the Christ, the son of God, but immediately after he says this when Jesus tells him he must suffer, die, and rise again 3 days later, Peter rejects this and says "be it FAR from thee Lord, this shall not be unto thee!"

If all of Israel already knew and was putting their faith in the Gospel of the Grace of God (the death, burial and resurrection of the Christ as payment for their sins) ever since God apparently preached this information to Abraham (nowhere in the scriptures: unless you speculate for your false doctrine), and Peter knew Jesus was the Christ, don't you think he would know that this was the guy they were all believing in since Abraham to die on the cross to pay for their sins?
I'm glad you brought up Peter. If you look at Matthew 16:22 - 23 you can see Jesus gives Peter perhaps the harshest rebuke of the Bible when he calls him "Satan". This would be a bit harsh had he simply made an innocent mistake and not realized Christ's mission. Peter knew but he had his interests set in in this world rather than the spiritual.

Matthew 16:22-23
21From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. 22Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You.” 23But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.”

2. At the empty tomb the disciples didn't know the scriptures and didn't understand that their Christ had just died, was buried, and would rise again 3 days later.

They didn't understand the resurrection even walking around inside the empty tomb having just seen their Christ die on the cross and be buried. And you want to tell me that all of the OT saints since Abraham knew the Gospel of the Grace of God that the Christ would come and die for their sins and rise again 3 days later? You're crazy.
On the road to Emmaus what did Jesus call the two men who could not comprehend the empty tomb? "O foolish men and slow of heart to believe". He does not address it as a knowledge problem but a heart problem.

Luke 24: 25-27
24Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just exactly as the women also had said; but Him they did not see.” 25And He said to them, “O foolish men and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?” 27Then beginning with Moses and with all the prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.

My guess is that some people just wish to be blinded. We see it here on the forum all the time.

It is seen all the time with KJV-only posters who wish to remain blind to some scriptural truths and many verifiable facts and who wish to remain blind to KJV-only reasoning's dependence upon fallacies and upon use of unjust divers measures [double standards].

Are you blind to the errors in your own human reasoning?

Do KJV-only advocates embarrass themselves with their seeming campaign to stay uninformed or ignorant of the actual serious problems with human KJV-only reasoning/teaching?

Chapter and verse. Keep your speculations and private interpretations.

It's amazing how far people will go to twist or blatantly avoid the scriptures to fit their personal desires of what they want God's doctrine to be.

Correct. He knew he was prophesying to unbelievers.
Wrong. He was prophesying to the nation of Israel, many of whom were no doubt believers in the God of Jacob and did not die and go burn in hell.

Are you claiming all of Israel went to burn in hell before Jesus Christ died on the cross? Absurd.

This reminds me of the Mormons.
What an insane little smear campaign lying mole you are.

What's the matter, couldn't find a job before team Calvin hired you to troll around on forums as you created your account 1 month after UGC started posting here with the sole actions of following our posts around and blatantly lying about them?

Your Kindergarten-like association of Biblical Christianity with Mormonism stands as further evidence that we are preaching truth and Satan's little minions like yourself are irritated by it, which is why you're making up wild, extravagant lies like a little 5 year old who just got caught peeing in your next door neighbor's cowboy hat. Going around spouting that garbage from your mouth.

"A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape." -Prov. 19:5

Still waiting for you to address any of the verses in our video. You've addressed a grand total of 0 in your useless smear campaign, flailing around like a magikarp.

Here, copy pasted from the doc displayed in the video so you can't run from the word of God to create your own doctrine:

Why don't you explain to all of us how your private doctrine, which is worse than Mormonism, erases God's words where he said Satan and the fallen angels did not know about the purpose of the cross otherwise they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory, when Satan knows the Bible better than most humans.

Also not only did Peter not know it, all of them didn't. Read the first verse in that screenshot.

Good luck trying to backflip and contort yourself around this one.

Christ, called him "Satan" there was something very wrong with what Peter said.

@tmjbog Post #29 just flew over your head.

You do not practice what you preach since you will assert your own private interpretations and speculations.

KJV-onlyism could be considered an example of how far some will twist or read their own subjective opinions into some verses and will avoid other scriptural truths to fit their personal, subjective desires of what they want God's doctrine to be. KJV-onlyism is a man-made, non-scriptural teaching.

You essentially already told us all you're a Satanist, go practice your Satanism elsewhere. Stop infiltrating Christian forums.

I guess you could call me a Cavlinist-a zero point Calvinist-you are likely more Calvinist than I am. But if it helps your story and fits your acronym better you can call me a Calvinist. On a side note a lot of the Calvinists have cool beards. As an IFB I can appreciate that.

I'm not sure he did tell us that. But then why start being honest now.

Lie #100.

You create your account 1 month after UGC starts posting here, you follow all of our posts around and critique them without even paying attention to what is posted, you portray people who don't agree with you as "Mormons", and you constantly defend Calvinism while also attacking Dispensationalism.

If you're not a Calvinist, and not a Dispensationalist, but you're claiming to be IFB, what in the world are you?
Some private concoction of your own imagination?

QUESTION:

Pretty much no one in the IFB is Arminian, and they're certainly not Catholic, so if you're a "zero point" Calvinist and not a Dispensationalist, what are you?
(inb4 the next lie: he's a mole)

You disobey the Scriptures with your completely bogus, false allegation that bears false witness. Your loser smear tactics and your improper attempts to put words in the mouths of others that they do not say fail to prove anything. You show that you do not know the truth and instead state falsehoods.

I am a Bible-believing, fundamental, independent Baptist believer.

Are you claiming all of Israel went to burn in hell before Jesus Christ died on the cross?
Nope.

Are you just making up stupid questions on the spot?
Yep.
UGC Wonder Twins gotta UGC Wonder Twin.

@logos1560 No one in here was talking about the KJV-O issue. No one.

You are obsessed with following people around and bringing up KJV-O stuff when literally no one around you is talking about it.
Go start your own thread and if people want to talk only about the KJV-O issue 24/7 for the rest of their lives, they can go listen to you complain on your midget soap box in there.

All you've done is attack the Bible. Literally. That's it. Are you incapable of talking about anything else? No seriously.

Do you have the ability to discuss anything besides the KJV? Why are you so obsessed with attacking this one book out of all the books out there.
Why don't you attack the Bagavad Gita or the Tao Te Ching or the Satanic Bible. What is it with you and the KJV.
If you want to use a New Version, no one is stopping you. But why are you making it your only mission in life to tell everyone that if they aren't using a New Version like you, they're not real Christians. Almost all New Versionists will agree that the KJV is a valid translation too. If you want to use the KJV and not the other versions, there's nothing wrong with that. If you want to use the NASB but not the NLT, that's your personal decision. I don't follow you around obsessively over it.
Yet you back up and claim you read and believe that same Bible you're attacking?
That's called doing things literally backwards and doing absolutely nothing else with your life except hating on the Bible, which are the two literal things Satanists do best.
99% of your past 100 posts were basically just a cheapo copy-paste from the last one, all you did was shuffle the order of the words around.
You keep flying around like an annoying parrot chanting some anti-Bible mantra to yourself.
This is you:

I have a IFB relative who calls himself a .5 Calvinist. There are a few of these pranksters out there.

So, I told him that he is a “4.5 Arminian”
