Where do go if I leave the IFB movement?

John was titled "the Baptist" because he baptized people. Baptists are called "Baptist" because they baptize people.

The distinction between a name/title and a description isn't meaningless.

No. That is not true. Many people baptizee people and have no desire to be called a "baptist". Plus, you must of never heard of the Three B's nonsense they teach. By the way... none of the three Bs is baptize.

I believe the Scriptures, particularly the notion of the priesthood of the believer. Ironically, a distinctively Baptist principle.

You are just simply crazy, there can be no other explanation. I used a Hyles type IFB because I consider it the most extreme. But, I would still rather be part of that than part of a church that would argue over something as insignificant as to whether a church that baptizes people should be able to call themselves baptists.

Do you think he wrote this for nothing? It is clear you don't believe what the apostle Paul wrote.

Or maybe pretend its not there since your pastor doesn't preach from it. Have any of your pastors ever preached from it? They tend to avoid such verses because it undermines what they teach. You know... people like Hyles.
