Then add to the fact that California can barely keep up with the power demands as it is. Besides, the environmentalist wackos want hydroelectric dams breached, the use of fossil fuels curtailed and no nukes. Our house is your typical multi-generational "Asian" family with one "Token White American" who has obviously spent time in the armed services! If such becomes a reality here in Texas, I will have the utilities placed in the name of whatever kid happens to have the lowest income! Definitely, hadn’t thought of that angle. Basically, electric consumption will fly off the charts with everyone because there’s really no motivation to conserve energy.
