ALAYMAN’s downward spiral to apostasy continues…

i had to carry my largest bible in my backpack the last time i carried it to sunday school... ....but not to hide it from attackers or repell them either one... ... ..it;s just too big for me to hand carry while walking that far.... :confused:

but i wasn;t carrying that one for myself anyway.... it was for someone else walking with me.... who... even though disabled and walking with a cane... is a much more effective deterrent to would be attackers than the sight of a large book they couldn;t read the writing on anyway..... :sneaky:

I was introduced to 2nd Chapter while in Memphis but my "buddy" also played another charismatic group that tried to sound like ABBA. That drove me absolutely NUTS!!

One sweet memory I have is, frequently playing a Back to the Bible Quartet cassette an IFB friend gave me.

Then another friend gave me a cassette of the Beatles White Album. 😳👿 I kept it hidden like a closet lush keeps a spare bottle of hooch... BUT I took that cassette with me when we were in France on a tour of the Alps. Nowadays, I cannot listen to Dear Prudence without being transported back to that trip in the French Alps.

UNC Chapel Hill had an active shooter today. ALAYWIFE’s got a cousin with a kid there now. He had to be locked into his Religion class today for 2 hours. I can’t imagine the anxiety that would produce.🥹

He probably would feel weird attending a Messianic Jewish service on a Saturday were we dance and sing and read the Bible , both the Torah and the New Testament (new covenant) with a full course oneg (meal) after every service.

Don't sell @ALAYMAN short. He's very knowledgeable and has a very gentle spirit.

Like you, he has convictions. I suggest you get to know him if he shows up. He's been busy with... well... life. If you're the praying sort, you might try praying for him.

I have Messianic and Christian friends that I can encourage them to pray for him also.
