Okay, I got it - it's perfectly clear. I agree with you, at least the second comment. I also agree with you that John Hagee is "unsound in doctrine" but unfortunately he is extremely influential on prophecy matters. At least Jack Hibbs believes Jesus is the Messiah, while Hagee does not. I find it alarming that millions of Christians regard Hagee as reliable on any subject, but that is the state of modern American Christianity today.

In case anyone would like documentation for the assertion that Hagee denied that Jesus was the Messiah, it is in his book "In Defense of Israel" which I have read in its entirety.

The title "Christ" is the Greek equivalent of the Hebrew "Mashiach" which means "Messiah." So where does that leave anyone who denies that Jesus was the Messiah?

And by the way, you do not understand Middle East policy or what it means to be a military and political ally of the US.

The battle of Gog and Magog described in Ezekiel 38 is not the same as the battle of Armageddon (Rev 20:7-9). The battle of Gog and Magog precedes Armageddon. It will be a Russian-led coalition of nations determined to rid all land “from the river to the Sea” of those hated Jews. Divine judgment will destroy those invading nations through earthquakes, pestilence, floods, hailstones, fire and brimstone (Ezek 38:22). Donald Trump or some future President will not save Israel in that battle but God Himself.

The Battle of Armageddon will involve “all nations” (Joel 3:2; Zech 12:3; 14:2; Rev 16:16; 19:11-21). In this battle Jesus will lead the final battle where the nations of the world will one last time attempt to destroy what Hitler tried to do and failed and what the modern coalition of Muslim states wish to do against a covenant people to whom God has promised His “everlasting love” (Jer 31:3). The Antichrist will be in power but Daniel 11:40-44 tells us that there will be a challenge to his power from the East and North. John Walvoord says this:

“Daniel’s prophecy described a great army from Africa, including not only Egypt but other countries of that continent. This army, probably numbering in the millions, will attack the Middle East from the south. At the same time Russia and other armies to the north will mobilize another powerful military force to descend on the Holy Land and challenge the world dictator. Although Russia will have had a severe setback four years earlier (the battle of Gog and Magog), in the prophetic sequence of events, she apparently will have been able to recoup her losses enough to put another army in the field.”

I don’t understand all the details but prophecy is very clear that in the last days New York, Tokyo, Moscow nor any other cities will be what is talked about. Zech 12:3 “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

“Consider how remarkable even this one prophecy is. Who could have imagined when the Old Testament was written that all the nations of the world would be involved in deciding the fate of Israel? And this involvement of all nations in dividing Israel has occurred exactly as prophesied and is still in the process of being implemented.” (Dave Hunt)

Hardly. Trumpenyahu's rhetoric continually marches in the direction I said it was going from the beginning. And for the reasons I said it would.

It's hardly extraordinary. I can read history and I have the right theology. And I know Dispies.

Donald Trump is only a man with warts on his face just like all the rest of us have but he seems to have incredible instincts. It looks he has brokered a deal between Israel and Iran to quit fighting and though no one can predict the immediate future it looks like President Trump's decision to neutralize Iran's ability to produce a nuclear arsenal was the right decision. I pray for President Trump every day and all the leaders including the politicians and judges. Sometimes I feel like people want him to fail as President because of TDS.

Israel and Iran may have a peace deal for now, but for the Bible to be accurate, it cannot last.

The prophecies will come to pass no matter what I think or what I think the timetable should be. We know the scriptures will eventually be fulfilled. In the meantime I will pray for the peace of Jerusalem as all Christians should.
 
Is there any reason why Mr. Trump couldn't turn out to be the Antichrist? 🤔
