Savannah Bananas Win!

Finally, a baseball game worth watching!
Really? “Exhibition barnstorming baseball” wasn’t my cup of tea. I saw them play in person. I think it’s a great concept if you’re bringing young children or grandchildren, but if you want to see baseball that’s not completely scripted, save your money.

It is of course not real baseball but they aren’t trying to fool anyone. They pack NFL size stadiums with a huge waiting list for tickets.
So what is the point you’re trying to make?

I made my point very clearly. It’s great for an audience of young kids or if you’re a fan of “professional wrestling” merged with baseball.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem or a crush on one of the “baseball players”?

I assumed that point was understood since it’s how they brand and promote themselves.
I doubt anyone could confuse them with Yankees vs Dodgers.

So here’s the thing…I’m originally from the Charleston/Savannah region, so I actually attended some Bananas games back when they played legitimate baseball when I was visiting home. They’ve always been known for their entertaining antics during games (pre-game, between innings, etc.). When I attended their new exhibition style game in Florida, I was unaware that the team had changed to a completely different format. I didn’t even buy the tickets, was just attending as a guest. Like I said, I’m not bashing what they do, it’s just not my cup of tea—same with exhibition boxing and wrestling.
